Getting Started with 0BugScripts

So you just picked up your first 0BugScripts resource — welcome aboard. Getting set up is straightforward, but there are a few things worth knowing before you drop the folder into your server.

Step 1 — Download via Tebex

After checkout, you'll have instant access to your purchase through your Tebex account. Head to your library, find the script, and download the latest release. Updates are pushed here automatically — no re-buying, ever.

Step 2 — Extract and Rename

Unzip the archive. You'll find a folder named something like 0bs_scriptname. Drop it into your server's resources directory. Keep the folder name as-is — the escrow system keys off the original name.

Step 3 — Add to server.cfg

Add the resource to your server.cfg:

cfg
ensure ox_lib ensure 0bs_scriptname

Make sure any dependencies listed in the script's README are started before the 0BugScripts resource.

Step 4 — Configure

Open config.lua (or config/config.lua depending on the script). Every setting is documented inline. At minimum, configure:

  • Your framework (esx, qb-core, or qbox)
  • Notification system (if the script supports custom ones)
  • Any job/item restrictions relevant to your server

Step 5 — Test in a Clean Environment

Before pushing to production, restart your server with the script and test each feature. Use /stop 0bsscriptname then /start 0bsscriptname for quick iteration.

Common Issues

Script not found after restart

Make sure ensure 0bs_scriptname is in server.cfg and the folder name matches exactly.

Framework not detected

Check your config.lua — set Config.Framework manually if auto-detection fails.

Items not registering (QBCore)

Ensure ox_inventory or the QBCore inventory is fully loaded before the script starts. Adjust the ensure order.
